The MPC chemical resistant diaphragm pumps use PTFE and other fluorinated plastics for the wetted parts to allow aggressive solvent and acid vapors to be pumped. If the pump should handle harsh chemical vapors, then the superior chemical resistant X2 version with higher grade seals and thicker coatings are the best choice. The diaphragm series from Welch is well known for their quiet operation and outstanding running smoothness. This is a result of continuous product improvements and close relationships with our customers. With their low weight and compact design, users can easily move pumps to different locations for use on different applications.
Depending on the specific requirements, Welch provides 1, 2, 4, and 8-head diaphragm pumps. They are available in one or multistage configuration with controlled (ecoflex) or uncontrolled pumping speed. Ecoflex diaphragm pumps are equipped with a state-of-the-art vacuum control which allows the pumping speed to be varied. The vacuum can be adjusted precisely to individual needs with the result that the process runs more efficiently and is reproducible. The additional pressure reduction allows the distillation of mixtures almost automatically and without fractionated operation. Ecoflex diaphragm pumps guarantee a positive economic and ecological balance with the result that operation costs can be reduced by up to 80%.
Dry diaphragm pumps work completely without oil which has several advantages for the user:
Less maintenance compared to other technologies saves time and money
Dry vacuum allows cleaner workplace and environment
Uncontaminated pumping of gases results in cleaner samples and no risk of oil back-streaming
Applications: Rotary evaporation, Vacuum oven, Industrial Applications, Desiccation, Distillation, Filtration, Gel drying, Concentrator, Gas sampling, Drying, Degassing
